Font - r/antiwork u/TheDonutCuh 21h. My Boss Exploded With Anger My boss had an explosive reaction to the news of yet another employee quitting in a span of just two weeks. The resignations were a result of the overwhelming workload and constant understaffing issues that the company had been facing. After slamming his office door shut, he summoned the remaining employees to gather around.

Font - He began a furious rant, expressing his frustration and disappointment in the employees who had chosen to leave. He made derogatory remarks about the reasons cited for their resignations and suggested that they were not willing to work hard enough to handle the challenges of the job. He also implied that the employees who had quit were not committed to the company and did not understand the importance of their roles.

Font - At one point, he even went as far as to suggest that the employees who had quit were not willing to make sacrifices, such as hiring a babysitter, in order to focus on their work. He thanked the remaining employees for their hard work and dedication, but also made it clear that he saw them as the only hope for the company's future. The outburst left the remaining employees feeling demotivated and disheartened. To make matters worse, another employee quit just two hours later, likely as a r

Font - samsounder • 20h I was a senior-to-mid-level manager at a pretty-big company. We were a very egalitarian society and treated folks with respect and valued their opinions. When we were purchased, the new CTO came in and stopped valuing people and their contributions. It was amazing and sad to watch the destruction of the company. 395

Font - strywever 17h . Hubby and I watched Boeing culture (engineers are the company's lifeblood, passenger safety matters more than anything, a skilled workforce keeps us king) get taken over by McDonnell Douglas' culture (profit is king, beancounters are your overlords, bust unions). 25 years later, Boeing is basically out of the commercial aerospace business and reduced to begging for government scraps. It's been painful to see. ... 4317 317

Font - KatN4P 17h ● Sad thing is I am at a company where most people have been over 10 years from the start on with the same horrible manager and nobody even really thinks about quitting. But they all seem so broken, tired and mentally instable and the whole atmosphere seems very toxic and stressed every day. I am going to quit this week because I cannot stand it anymore. The rest will probably carry on until the place closes down for good.

Font - update: i quit today. I have to stay another two weeks but I feel a big relief already. The boss was giving her speech this morning about how everyone has to give more for the company "more is always possible". And then she read out loud the results of client rewievs and compared each Team to another and their ranking. On other days she will read the revenue of employees to everyone and compare single people to others or the revenue they made last year at this time. The older employees in

Font - Belsnickel213 • 10h Boss probably isn't struggling financially. Boss is more likely struggling from the realisation that employees don't give a f about the company when he gives them no reason to give a f.. The way to make employees work for a company and not just at a company is to give them defined incentives to help the company reach defined goals. Make 2 mill in sales, get a 20k bonus. Directly grow company then get the a commission. They can all afford to offer this but it just stick
